Canadian Reggae Music Conference and Reggae Boot Camp – November 26th to November 27th, 2021
The fifth annual Canadian Reggae Music conference kicks off on Friday, November 26th, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with the Reggae Boot Camp – artist development workshops in grant writing, studio production, marketing, promotion, booking, management and tours. Presenters are Andrea JohnBaptiste, MAOM, President and CEO of Axum Management Capabilities, Inc, radio hostess and manager, Caswell McLaughlin, CEO of 3P Entertainment and Masani Montague,BA(Hons),MES, managing director of Masani Productions and Rastafest Inc.
The conference continues on Saturday, November 27th, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The presentations are from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm via zoom and the virtual concerts are from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm on www.rastafest.tv. Guest speaker: Kwasi Osei Bonsu,Esq, entertainment lawyer and founding member of the Jamaica Music Conference. The panels are as follows: Women in the Music Industry – Penny Providence, manager of Rayzalution all female band, Natasha Von Castle, Founder and CEO of L3 Magazine and Petraa, radio hostess, business owner and artist. Canadian Reggae Music Industry – Jah Cutta (Montreal), Ras Lee (Ottawa), Andru Branch (Halifax), Saint (Edmonton), Richard Brown (Vancouver) and Ludlow Rodney (Calgary).
