In a press release sent by his distribution company One RPM, media has been told that “Tommy Lee Sparta continues to distinguish himself from his peers by tapping into and allowing himself to be inspired by the Phoenix and its story of rebirth – it is the bird of fire that is rekindled and born again from the ashes of its own flaming death. In the same way, Tommy Lee hopes to Transition into a different space in his current life, with more focus on his core brand and the more positive things he is known for.”
Transition is slated for release November 5th, 2021 and some say the 26-track double-album may change the landscape of the Dancehall space. Insiders describe it as displaying the Ying / Yang personality Tommy Lee is known for musically. Lee has given fans collections of music and has grown since his last release.
It is anticipated that fans will see his growth reflected in his storytelling, lyricism and choice of musical arrangement. Features on the album include Stylo G, Skillibeng, Chronic Law, Laden, Honey Millan and more.
Tommy Lee’s debut is music came in 2008. He has blazed his own trail in Dancehall by creating hits “Wartn Dem,” “Psycho,” “Spartan Soldier” and more. His music is described as dark Jamaican punk iconography that gives way to his performance of various characters in his ensemble.
